“It is the client who knows what hurts, what directions to go, what problems are crucial, what experiences have been deeply buried.” (C. Rogers)
My work as a person-centred counsellor is non-directive. I hope to build a therapeutic relationship with my clients whereby they can explore their issues that may be causing them unease and/or distress in a safe and confidential space. As a member of COSCA, I adhere to their Ethical Framework and Code of Practice. (www.cosca.org.uk)
Some of these issues may include:
depression
anxiety
bereavement
work related issues
problems with relationships.
